The submarine on the Neckar

July 8 was the day. The decommissioned German navy submarine “U17” was transported on a pontoon on the Neckar towards its final “resting place” in the Technik-Museum Sinsheim. The route led directly past the campsite and attracted many onlookers as well as some of the original crew, who stopped off at the campsite to watch “their” boat pass by and delighted the other guests with information and stories.
